Downton Abbey Guy is Directing The Book Thief

I'm sorry, what was that? The Downton Abbey director is doing The Book Thief adaptation? Now that's interesting. This is big news! I better tell Markus Zusak.

He's probably going to be pretty happy. There is so much for us to talk about--like how neither one of us ever wanted to see Bates' and Anna's honeymoon. You can't unsee that, Markus. "I know, right?" he said.

Then we just laugh and laugh and laugh.
I can not wait for The Book Thief movie. It's definitely one of my Top 5 best ever books.

  1. It's at the top of my list too. If I'm willing to read a book twice, it's a favorite. Had no idea a movie was coming...yippee!

  6. Off topic question here...Remember when you had all those posts about voting for Obama? I'd like to see a follow-up, do you still love him, do you think he'll be your guy this time around?

  7. I think Berkeley might have the wrong link.
Also, was anyone else disappointed in how pasty white and unmuscular Bates' arms were? I mean, come on, really, its not like he only stands around and waits to dress someone in real life. I feel like he should have been muscular.
Downton Abbey is so well done, I'm sure they will do justice to The Book Thief!
