  1. As a fellow Ross and Neil Diamond lover (not to mention practically every other thing on your list), I am really looking forward to meeting you.

  2. Fabulous. All around. Raising a glass of diet coke in your westerly direction. (I'm going to steal some of those for the annual Thanksgiving around-the-table thankfulness list.)

  4. I'm thankful for Every Day I Write the Book (the blog - not the song - but now that I think of it, I'm also thankful for the song and that silly 80s video where I first heard it) - one of my first favorite blogs!

And I am also thankful for The Monkees. Glad to hear I'm not alone in that.

  5. I started to think that you were spelling thankful wrong, but I'm thankful that I realized you weren't.

  7. I am also thankful for Stacy and Clinton. And Legacy. Although, that last one is new for me.

  8. How could we not be thankful for Gregory House?

  9. I'm thankful for Harry Potter and your blogpost about it from 2007. I purposely avoided it then because of the spoilers. Now that I finished The Deathly Hallows and am all into my Harry Potter obsession and sleep-deprivation-from-reading phase, no one else cares about it anymore. So I went back and read that post and felt (almost) like I could be in on the excitement. And if you were ever to edit any old posts, you can remove my name as one who thinks she is too good for Harry Potter.

  10. I'm thankful that you blog. I'm thankful for the post office. I'm thankful for fake plants. I'm thankful sanitary wipes. I'm thankful you have stalkers, because then when I say, "Hey, my friend Kacy once said..." people are like, "Shut up, you KNOW her?"

I'm thankful that four children have such an incredible woman as their mother. I'm thankful that I read this beautiful post.

  16. I'm thankful for this post! It made me feel all warm and fuzzy. I may have to copy you and put this video on my blog too. (I will give you a shout out when I do.) Imitation is the greatest form of flattery. Maybe I'll go buy some new Uggs and get a new puppy, too. After all we DO have sister houses, don't we? It's a great time of the year isn't it. You have some well expressed thankfulness here.

Now I have to go find your post about Harry Potter because I just read Marcy's comment and just finished the 7th book myself and am in some kind of post-Harry-Potter depression. (Wonder what they're doing now, Harry and friends.) I keep feeling like there's something I should be doing, some horcrux I should be finding, but then I remember it's just Harry life still lingering. I'm gonna write Mrs. Rowling and tell her to please write more. I'm thankful for good books.
