Give Yourself Prudence and Love Your Friends: A Playlist that Teaches Values

Why not let music impart your values? That's what I do because I didn't go on a mission.  I find it very very easy to be true when listening to this play list. Enjoy! And most importantly, don't be a drag just be a queen.

  3. I love this playlist. You need to hire yourself out for birthdays, bar mitzvahs, et al.

  4. John Denver makes me weepy. I think he might be my forever, my once in a lifetime. Or maybe that was Chris Isaak.

  5. A playlist with Chris Isaak! We have a winner! I had a day when I was really furious last week, and realized that I didn't have any good angry music. Maybe you could do a playlist? (pleeeeeeease) Sometimes sweet music just doesn't cut it.

  7. I think I'll just play this instead of teaching Sunday school.

  8. My son had a pre-science fair melt down this morning over what he was wearing. We wanted him to dress up a bit so he was told to get his church pants and shoes.

After finally getting him calmed down (the meltdown had more to do with nerves than attire) he was apparently concerned about "all of those kids who weren't Mormons who wouldn't know what to wear to church."

Because apparently no one but Mormons value Dockers and black shiny shoes...

But the science fair was at BYU - and we won a baby spoon at Spoon Me - so I thought of you...

  9. Maybe we could start teaching "I Walk the Line" instead of "Hold to the Rod". It might resonate with the kids more. Plus, think of how fun that primary presentation would be.
    Just an idea...
