Weekly Round Up

Well. The kids have been out of school for a week! Have you noticed I didn't blog here at all? I wonder if there's a correlation. Yesterday I went to 7 Peaks with them for three hours and had to lay in bed for the rest of the day. I was going to take them once a week because we have the Pass of All Passes (one pass to rule them all) but I'm afraid if I go once a week I literally might die.

Here's what happened at Babble this week.

On Monday I put together a slideshow of the books that have changed the way I parent. I've talked about some of the books before but it might be useful to have them all in one place. You decide. I would love your recommendations if I've left any out.

Tuesday I offered up a tip that I love to talk about for storing your kids paperwork, certificates, documents, and mementos. You put it all in a binder with tabs for each age. So simple. Any other systems that don't take up boxes and boxes of space?

Wednesday I posted my summer bridge ideas. You know--if you're desperate for ideas. I also linked to Lisa's video, which is hilar.

On Thursday I wondered if I'm an awesome mom or a shoddy mom, like you do.

And for Friday I posted a playlist for fun and provided some analysis about a toddler in the news. It's very Walter Cronkite.

How do you like this colorful post? To me, it is beautiful.
