Before/After

I was in the mood for a little Before and After action. At first it was motivating. But then it got old.
Before.
After.
Before.
After.
Before.
After.
Before.
After.

Before.
After.

  4. My kitchen gets clean and then minutes (seconds?) later...time to mess it all up again.

  5. You made me laugh! I swear... my dishes multiply and replenish the sink when I'm not looking. Naughty dishes!

BTW Janelle sent me here with a promise that I would chuckle or else she'd pay me $5.

  8. Thank you for showing me your dirty kitchen. It soothed me. Every Sunday night anxiety wells within me because on my day of "rest" I haven't done housework and the thought of having to clean up the whole mess come Monday overwhelms me.

  11. I've got a tip for your friend, Beth. It's called "Jewish Sabbath." I almost always spend Saturday night preparing some kind of lesson, so I count Sabbath sundown to sundown like our Jewish friends. So we do church, have a little lunch, take a nice nap, maybe do some VT/HT/ family visits/baking, then the kids go to bed and mama goes nuts on the house. I do a couple of laundry loads while I clean up the kitchen and then I fold clothes while watching a movie (or in the case of last night, some BYUTV). Otherwise I cannot face the Monday.

Kacy, I was delighted by your Sunday get-up--so cute! As for the rest, yay for keepin' it real.

  13. Ohmygoodness- you're so productive! I got my oil changed and did 2 loads of laundry today. Suddenly that doesn't seem like much! I'm so happy I stopped by your blog- it's great!

  14. I like how the after picture magically made you happier. I've concluded the solution to being perky is simply to be an after person. No more messin' around with that before nonsense.

In our house, we don't have before and after... just before and aftermath. With a dirty house, this has truly inspired me to look at pictures of clean houses instead of clean my own.

  15. I would rather reorganize many a closet or craft room- laundry room or toy room than do the dishes. I don't know why-- it's not so hard, but I HATE doing it. I tell my pre-teens that I had them to do my dishes. They love that.

  16. So fun! I especially love the last one.

  17. I would have to tidy up a bit before the "before" pics.

  18. This was great! My laundry is like your sink, never finished. I love your book reviews every month too. I have mandatory reading time every afternoon, not all of my kids are into it, but at least they do it and know it's important to me!!
